Digital energy neighbourhoods – Opportunities and challenges
Speaker: Rita Streblow, TU Berlin/ RWTH Aachen University
Buildings and neighbourhoods play a central role in climate protection. The applied energy transition is taking place in the neighbourhood: this is where renewable energy can be produced decentrally and efficiently, smartly networked, distributed and stored. But what data is needed to record the energy status of the neighbourhood, coordinate the decentralised energy supply and integrate the users? The lecture provides an overview of the opportunities and challenges of digitalisation in the neighbourhood on the way to implementing the energy transition.
The event will take take place online. Registration by email is requested.
