Data science and machine learning in Neuroscience

Like many fields in science, brain research is undergoing a data science revolution. Methodological developments over the past decades have vastly increased the amount and the size of neuroscientific data, to a level that can no longer be managed without specialized skillset and often required interdisciplinary teams including data scientists. I will give a short overview of aspects of neuroscience where data science and machine learning are starting to take center stage, sprinkling in bits and pieces of our own work at times.
