Artificial Intelligence – Opportunities and Risks for Applications in Sustainability and Healthcare

Machine Learning (ML) has become an essential part of the analysis toolkit of researchers - and of most other aspects of our lives. ML is being used as assistive technology in hospitals and for reaching our sustainability goals. This talk will highlight some of the applications and methods that we have been developing in order to leverage opportunities and mitigate risks around ML components in various domains, including computer vision, geosciences, urban technology, medical imaging, nursing care and automated data cleaning.
