Artificial Intelligence: a cross-sectional technology with algorithmic prejudices

Nowadays, Artificial Intelligence has become indispensable, it is represented in many areas, such as health, marketing, IoT, etc. and is improving and optimizing processes. An essential resource when developing AI applications is the data that is bringing and generating valuable and usable insights for economy and society. However, a homogeneous data set can also reflect and economically and socially lead to challenges and problems. During my presentation, I will introduce different AI applications and use cases in various sectors, and at Lufthansa Industry Solutions. I will present the challenges and risks generated by homogeneous data sets in AI and how those can be handled.
